I absolutely love Salon Zen Aveda! From the moment I walk in, I’m always greeted with warmth and professionalism. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is top-notch. Gigi is hands down the best hairstylist! She truly understands my hair and always knows exactly what I need. I trust her completely, and she never disappoints. Whether it’s a simple trim or a fresh new look, she works magic every time. I always leave feeling confident and refreshed. My hair stylist was very very sweet. However she did not give me the hair cut I wanted despite me saying “please cut/thin more, more, more” I I have really thick hair and was looking forward to having the bulk off. It didn’t seem like she was very confident or comfortable with thinning hair. I finally said it was good because it had already been an hour plus and I needed to be somewhere. What she gave is a cute hair cut but not what I wanted. And again she couldn’t have been any sweeter.

I have been a loyal client at Aveda Mercato since 2020. My two favorite stylists are Barbara and Gigi. They are professional and do a great job. The price quoted for root touch up & blow dry is the actual price I pay at the end of service. Thanks B & G 😀

Yesterday, I had a new stylist ( both Gigi & Barb were booked),
I did the exact same service for approx quarter inch roots and basic blow dry. No hot tools.
She got colour on my arm and cheek.
The extremely disappointing!
I ended up paying $20 more for the same service that is noted in my file. When I cashed out, I told the receptionist to look at my history ... WHY am charged for $20 extra for the exact same service?

The front desk receptionist was not able to comprehend my question for the extra $20, nor did the stylist communicate that there was an additional $20.

I'm not mentioning this stylist name on purpose. However, I expect management to resolve that this is not good practice.

It's the busy holiday season.. The vibes should be served with gratitude.

I do not like to be taken advantage of for being a loyal client to the salon. It has consequences for all the other stylists.

Gigi is a Master Color Specialist and Stylist and she provides Five Star service from start to finish! She listens carefully to what you want to achieve and recommends her best solution. I went from a double process blonde to highlights using balayage. I’ve been going to Gigi for two years now and my hair looks beautiful and is so much healthier. Gigi is the best!!!
