Excellent, fresh, quality food through and through. One thing: the Design District website has them open Sunday, as does Google Maps. No. Although the District is packed on Sundays and many fine eateries are open, this wonderful little seat-yourself spot is not. Other days, if you don’t need table service, go and satiate and chill.

I love their baked goods. Mercato makes a really good chocolate chip cookie. They serve a long list of baked goods. I even saw a birthday cake in the fridge. The women who work there are always personable. This place is great for lunch. If you follow them on Instagram you'll see more of what they offer. This place is awful! Selling overpriced frozen food. I paid $8.34 for a bagel and OJ. They claim their OJ is fresh squeezed and it taste like Tropicana. I had to go down the street to Green Life where everything is organic and fresh to purchase actual fresh squeezed OJ. The bagel was not toasted like I asked and the amount of cream cheese they gave me for the bagel wasn’t even enough for half of the bagel. When I notified the store manager he just said ok. Talk about customer service! For the location they’re are at and the prices they charge they should be honoring the customer with extra service!

Great place and great staff! Love going there every morning for an empanada and coffee. Food is always fresh! And the desserts OMG! To die for! I highly recommend it. Prices are good, I mean your in the Design Distric what do you expect? The girls there are amazing and super friendly!. MY PLACE TO GO EVERYDAY!

No longer a reliable place for a quick and price accesible meal. What used to be a signature chicken milanesa is now tiny in portion and higher in price. So thin the protein hardens and it’s chewy. The turkey burger up went up in price $13 with a small and sad looking salad. The Salmon $18 !! Seat down dinner prices 🙁 . I’m sad this was my favorite place for years. Baked good are good and the staff always wonderful !! I will miss them ....

Coffee is good at this place. And if you need last minute Italian groceries. But they should not call themselves bakery…let’s be realistic…it is NOT fresh at all or very low quality.

We qere douring the MDD and stumbled on this place, we had a great time and the food was amazingly tasty and well presented, the place has nice background music to set the mood and the decoration is neat and modern, we had an Argentinean style milanesa de pollo which was extremely well presented and tasted wonderfully, the icing on the cake was the pastries, especially the bombolone and the budin de pan, Thanks Annlie and Carla for a wonderful time.
