Met a friend for a Monday lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Large booths and plenty of space with a comfortable atmosphere.

We had the quinoa/greens bowl and sweet bowl (yogurt/fruits/nuts). Great taste. Menu has a wide variety of options for any palate. Will visit again!

My husband have always stopped at the grocery store here, but we finally ate at the restaurant, and wow! It did not disappoint. Gemma, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. They accommodated my order as I had asked for the beet salad and had them add a grass fed beef patty on top. It was amazing. Everything is fresh, organic and real food. Flavors were amazing and satisfying. Make sure you stop by the grocery store next door when you’re done to do some shopping!

I was not going to give a review, but after reading reviews with similar experiences, I decided to leave one.
This was my first & last time eating here!
My neighbors invited me for dinner. Our server whose name begins with an “S” and has 3 letters could not be any less engaging. We barely saw him. There were 4 of us. He took our order and after quite a long wait, our food was delivered. However, my meal was missing. I told my friends to not wait for mine, to begin eating. After 10 minutes or so the server came by and noticed I did not have my order. He then realized that he had never entered it. All he said was, they are making it right now … I never heard him say “I am sorry”… then walked away. Close to 15 minutes later the young server who had brought initially our order served mine. I had ordered the same dish as my friend. The only exception was that hers had chicken. That aside, I believe they served me the bottom of what was left cooked. In comparison to my friend’s, mine was a lot less & soupy! Whatever I got tasted ok. For the prices, service needs to be better! You don’t have to comp the meal, but you can make a bad experience better by offering coffee or dessert! Even if we had said no, that would be owning a mistake and making the moment right! It’s Customer Service!! There was none of this displayed tonight - Neither by
S_ _, or by the manager who came by the table!

We visited Food & Thought 2 based on glowing reviews and recommendations from friends, as well as our positive experiences as frequent customers of Seed to Table. Unfortunately, our visit did not meet our expectations.

Our waitress’s behavior was disappointing. She forgot our order entirely (we had to remind her after waiting over 40 minutes) and served us the wrong bottle of wine without checking if we were okay with the change. When one of my friends tried to address this mistake, she dismissively responded with “Yo no comprende,” even though we had been speaking to her in English. Since we had been conversing in Spanish among ourselves, this response felt not only unprofessional but also racially insensitive.

Additionally, one of my friends noted that the server was unnecessarily rude to the children at our table when they asked for drinks. This lack of courtesy made the experience even more unpleasant.

Every employee represents the face of a business, and no matter how challenging their day may be, basic respect and professionalism are non-negotiable. While I understand that anyone can have a bad day, being rude to children and dismissive toward customers is unacceptable.

I hope this was an isolated incident, as the restaurant’s reputation suggests a much higher standard of service. However, this experience made it difficult for us to enjoy what should have been a pleasant evening.

Food and Thought 2 is hands down one of the best grocery stores I’ve ever visited. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the attention to detail and commitment to quality. They offer an exceptional selection of raw cheeses and milks, plus a wide variety of grass-fed and raw options that cater to all kinds of dietary preferences. The supplements they carry are top-notch and well-vetted, ensuring you get the very best for your health.

Their honey, yogurts, and cheeses are absolutely outstanding—some of the best I’ve ever tasted! I also love that their in-house rotisserie chicken has a short, clean ingredient list—no unnecessary additives or weird chemicals like you often find in other stores. Everything on the shelves is organic, and their in-house prepared foods like lasagna and soups are made with clean, wholesome ingredients that taste amazing.

Another thing I truly appreciate is their bread selection. The breads have just 3-4 ingredients, and sugar isn’t one of them—such a rarity these days! The smoothie bar is a delicious treat, and the live music and games make shopping there a fun and enjoyable experience. I also can’t say enough good things about their restaurant. It’s always clean, and I never leave with a stomach ache, which is something I can’t say for many other places.

Overall, Food and Thought 2 is a gem, offering not only high-quality groceries but also a fantastic atmosphere and service. 10/10 recommend!
