A small fast food hall. There are two more from the same chain in London, much more spectacular and with a much richer offer. But this is also worth visiting.

Excellent location overlooking the Dock. Perfect for some drinks in the sun. Quite a few different food options. I had the cheeseburger which was excellent! It's not a place for a cheap eat, but typical for the area and was good quality and friendly service. Also had a beer from the Italian job. Lovely beer and friendly service. The pizza looks incredible and will definitely return for a visit to try and also have another beer 🍺 😀

New branch in the most recent expansion of this new district in Canary Wharf, this Mercato Metropolitano is on the dock with a nice outdoor garden where you can seat and enjoy food from different stalls: Italian, pizza, fresh pasta, Asian, pub, coffee… place is quite expensive and quality is good. It’s also a small grocery store with high quality Italian products. Place is really clean and atmosphere very casual. Nice place for an early coffee, good lunch and late drinks. I gave 4 stars and not 5 as the food was good but not as good as the high paid price.

Tried the lebanese place for breakfast and it was super awesome! The pita bread with aubergine hummus is definitely worth it. (5 stars)
The people were friendly and the service was good as well.
We enjoyed the outdoor sitting in the garden as the weather was kind. 😍
We also ordered Pav Bhaji from the Indian place which was okay too.

A brilliant spot for lunch / supper / ‘picky bits’, with a wide selection of food purveyors within the ground floor of the building. My husband loved ‘The Italian Job’ a small chain of 3 or 4 bars specialising in Italian craft beer. Unfortunately they only had one Italian beer on when we visited (the rest were UK-based beers), but I think that’s due to shipping/import issues rather than by choice! We enjoyed excellent tender bavette steak from the steak place, and oysters from the Fish Shack. We also ordered and ate tuna tartare from the Fish Shack, but it was grey in colour indicating a lack of freshness - and it didn’t taste of much either which was a shame. When I asked where the oysters were sourced, the chefs didn’t understand my question (their first answer was ‘London’) and eventually said it was from Southend, ‘grown on the rocks’. I’m not sure I’d order from the Fish Shack again, just as I think it would be brilliant if they openly shared where their fish was sourced from & when it was caught etc, and really emphasised the freshness.

Next time I’ll definitely hit up the dim-sum/dumpling place, and the hand-made pasta stall which looked excellent. There’s also a place that sells focaccia breads & sandwiches, and an array of Italian wines, plus another place that sells scoops of gelato.

It’s a brilliant place, in a very quiet and relaxing area of Canary Wharf alongside the canal, with a nice outdoor grassy area with tables & seating as well.
